When the scream will be born
It is said that once children were born in scream
At first the mother’s scream tore space apart
Then the mother gave the scream to her child
Then the child set the scream free with his first
independent exhalation
The scream would begin to live its own life
Now children are born in silence
What remains is only the crying
the mute crying of the mother
the mute crying of the child
but we shall come here
we shall wait
in this hall
parted by water
and perhaps some day
the SCREAM will be born again
and will stir up the waters
and a wave will rise
and our heads will receive ablution
